Space Bats, Attack! are a New Zealand sci-fi-soaked doom rock collective known for their spellbinding, frenetic live shows and intricate, expansive instrumental soundscapes.

Formed in 2011 in Ōtepoti Dunedin by guitarist Lee Nicolson (Thundercub / Lightning Wave) and drummer Josh Nicholls (Koizilla, Dale Kerrigan, Fazed on a Pony), the band was later joined by Richard Ley-Hamilton (asta rangu, Mr. Biscuits, Males) in 2013 and Zac Nicholls (Koizilla) in 2016. The current quartet crafts angular, expansive, and hard-hitting instrumental rock, blending heavy celestial riffs with raw, improvised energy.
